Bryan Trottier is awarded the Conn
Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP on May 24, 1980. Trottier recorded 12
goals and 29 points in 21 playoff games to help lead the Islanders to
their first Stanley Cup Championship. He is presented the award by
former NHL President John Ziegler, Jr.
