An offensive defenseman who played in the shadows of
star teammates Kyle Okposo and Trevor Lewis. He
rushes the puck well, and is a force on the power play

improve.

and the pro scouts have taken notice," Des Moine
head coach and GM Regg Simon said.
Sims
plays physical, works hard on and off the ice, and is
expected to shoulder a heavy leadership role next
season. He projects as a fifth/sixth-round pick.
